Each classroom is equipped with an interactive white board, several computers, and a document camera for teaching. The students are able to participate more actively in the learning process.
Franklin Spellers
Franklin Spellers are interactive speaking dictionaries that are designed to help to improve reading and writing skills. They include over 40,000 easy-to-understand definitions, automatic phonetic spell correction, an animated handwriting guide, a rhyme finder, five word-building games, and a vocabulary word list that can be created by the user. Each 4th grade classroom is equipped with a set of Franklin Spellers.
eWriters
The fourth grade has a class set of eWriters to share. Each child has a space to write reports, paragraphs, or projects. The writing can be sent by infared beam to the computers in the computer lab, to revise, edit and publish. Having this technology, extends the ability for each child to use a computer for writing.
